Credits issuance and redemption are not currently available in Chravel. No usable credit balance is offered. The following terms apply only to any future expressly enabled offer.
Chravel Credits and Wallet Terms
Chravel may award promotional credits (“Chravel Credits”) through eligible bookings, Chravel+ benefits, referrals, promotions, or other offers presented by Chravel.
Earning credits
Each offer will identify the applicable earning rules, including eligibility, the qualifying transaction, the credit amount or calculation, and when the credits become available.
Credits are not earned merely because a trip is searched for or proposed. They are earned only when the qualifying conditions for the relevant offer have been satisfied.
Redemption
Available credits may be applied to eligible purchases through the Chravel Wallet where the checkout permits redemption. Before completing a purchase, the Platform will show the credits applied and the remaining amount payable.
Credits may be subject to minimum-spend requirements, eligible products, country restrictions, membership conditions, and other restrictions disclosed with the relevant offer.
Expiration
Chravel will not impose an expiration date on a credit unless the applicable expiration rule is disclosed when the credit is awarded or otherwise communicated as required by law. Any expiration remains subject to mandatory consumer-protection rules.
The Wallet will display credit availability and, where supported, relevant expiration information.
Cancellations and refunds
If a booking that earned credits is cancelled or refunded, Chravel may reverse the credits attributable to that transaction where the offer terms permit and applicable law allows.
If credits were used to pay for a booking that is subsequently cancelled or refunded, their treatment will depend on the applicable offer, booking conditions, and mandatory law. We will communicate the applicable treatment before redemption where required.
Credits will not be removed arbitrarily or in a way that unlawfully deprives a customer of an earned benefit.
Transfers and cash redemption
Unless expressly permitted by Chravel or required by law, credits cannot be transferred to another account, exchanged for cash, or withdrawn to a bank account.
Wallet status
The Chravel Wallet is an interface for displaying and applying eligible promotional credits. It is not represented as a bank account, deposit account, or general-purpose payment account.
Chravel will maintain records of credit awards, redemptions, reversals, adjustments, and expirations sufficient to administer the program and address customer disputes.
Changes to the program
Chravel may modify future credit offers or discontinue a promotion with appropriate notice where required. Changes will not unlawfully invalidate credits already earned or override mandatory consumer rights.
